Audie Murphy coincidentally came up in conversation today. I can see how a Texas convention would have someone named Audie. As I have family from the coalfields, I was always partial to Alvin York.

I'm back, Looked for you to go running yesterday, but have to admit to some relief you didn't show. Speaking of shows, heard yours was good the other night.
Missed you at No Shame, too. Are you coming this morning at 8:30? If not, see you Sunday.
I have a sinus infection, so I might be a little wobbly on my pins from the meds, but backslid a lot in Texas--gained 8 pounds.
Yea and verily. Hey, how about we start back up on Tuesday? 'Cos it is Memorial Day and you know, it's a holiday.
I'll be waiting for you this morning...but I won't be able to be very vigorous, still deeply medicated from the sinus infection, but on the mend. See you in an hour or so.
