Reaper 03148: Jerach Winterhart, Undead Hunter

This sculpt by Matt Gubser is pretty good, though there isn't much detail on the face. The figure is much better as a vampire hunter than one by WOTC. Their mini was scaled like a half giant, but this one is right around 28mm and his neck is nicely protected by thick hood and armor shoulderpads. I like the holy symbol around his neck and the design on his sheild is excellent...even if it is a bit Judeo-Christian for a fantasy campaign. The sheild an angel kneeling down and holding two stone tablets that look a lot like the Ten Commandments. I also like the Batman-esque flow of the cape and am glad Gubser resisted the temptation to have an unrealistic amount of cloth in the cape.
